Responsibilities:

Caring, for an elderly gentleman, medication prompting, light meal prep etc. Mon-Fri 630am start.

- Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with medication administration and ensure adherence to prescribed medication schedules.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, taking into consideration any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Provide companionship and engage in activities with patients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper techniques and equipment as needed.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide catheter care and assist with other medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of patients.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.

Requirements:
- Previous experience in a nursing home or home care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of medication administration and the ability to follow medication schedules accurately.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for patients based on their dietary needs and preferences.
- Experience with tube feeding and familiarity with different types of feeding tubes.
- Understanding of dementia care techniques and the ability to provide appropriate support for patients with dementia.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients, with the ability to provide emotional support as needed.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to accurately measure vital signs and record them in patient charts or reports.
- Knowledge of catheter care procedures and the ability to perform them safely and hygienically.
